Language-Free Hate Crime Information launched in Northumbria
Northumbria Police have launched a package of short videos and posters which are entirely language free. The information is aimed at migrant communities, and groups for whom English is not a first language. They focus on eight key areas – anti-social behaviour, knife crime, hate crime, suspicious behaviour leading onto more series crime such as terrorism, violent crime, internet safety, alcohol leading to vulnerability and driving in the UK.

England Footballers back Tyneside anti-racism charity.
Englands World Cup footballers are supporting a campaign by “Show Racism the Red Card” which is based in Tyneside. The team posed for a photo before their latest match and Wembly stadium will be used to launch a new poster campaign. Read more.
