Volunteer for a Police Scrutiny Panel
Do you want to be involved in scrutinising real life Hate Crime cases, and making recommendations about how the Police can investigate Hate Crimes better?
Each month, panels made up of local people and local police meet in every part of West Yorkshire. They focus on Hate Crime investigations and Stop and Search procedures.
Scrutiny panels make sure there is openness in the Police’s actions, and aim to increase the public’s confidence in how the Police deal with Hate Crimes and Stop and Search.
For more information about becoming a Scrutiny Panel member, you can email local.policingdept@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
