Job Vacancy at Stop Hate UK - extended deadline

YOUTH INVOLVEMENT OFFICER

Scale 6 (£21,412 -£22,845) pro rata (Cost of living pay award pending)

 THIS IS A PART TIME POST – 16 hours per week

Funded by the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust (Racial Justice Programme)

Fixed Term Contract until March 2009

(Although there will be flexibility in which days are worked the post holder will be expected to work 1 Saturday in 4 from home taking calls on the Stop Hate Line and other duties)

Stop Hate UK are looking for an enthusiastic Youth Involvement Officer to develop innovative work with young people on a city wide basis.

You will possess a good understanding of consultation process and issues affecting young people.

Our team at Stop Hate UK are dedicated to promoting a range of services including reporting of Hate Crime, promoting community cohesion, casework, training and providing person centred support to people experiencing Hate Crime.
